if some of you guys with A-6 (long cylindrical ) Gm A?C compressor would do me a favor i would appreciate it...

just take a flashlight and check the nut on the compressor shaft that holds the clutch assembly in position...this nut has one end which is just hex and the other is turned down to a round collar rather than stock hex.... which do you see facing out...ie towards the front of the car...is the flat hex end visible or do you see a turned dwon round collar???

the flat side of the nut goes to the inside(the flat surface) OK
