I plan on having around 375 HP with a Comp Extreme Energy Cam, Performer intake and 650 Q-Jet. I (think) I have 373 or lower gears with a turbo 350 tranny. What stall would be good to look bad as hell on the street, but also be able to drive and cruise it more than race it at the track.

Hey 72,
That is a question that really has no right answer. Converters respond to the torque of the engine and the stall speed of a given converter will actually vary between engines. I just went throught this with my 65SS. It has a 300/350 with lots of power enhancements. I went with a B&M TH 350 and one of their Holeshot 2000 converters. My car has pretty tall gears, and I wanted a performance converter but use the car exclusively on the street. I'm pleased with the combination. Check out their web site (www.bmracing.com) there is lots of info on converter selection. Proceed with care and caution, if you make the wrong choice those things make a real expensive door stop. mgg

Need more cam info. tire dia and accurate rear gear for a good decision.
Personally I like to to stall at about 500 -1000 rpm into the cams power band but also be stalled at highway cruseing speeds.

Try asking this question to : http://compcams.com/ or http://www.bmracing.com . I got my reccommendation from Comp cams and I like the advice they gave me. Good Luck.
