I have just finish redoing the int of my 67 El Camino and I replaced the dash panel bezel that the glove box lock fit's in. I can not get it to tighting down and it is hard to get the glove box door to latch every time. I know there has to be a tool, socket, or something to fit the nut on the top of the lock. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know if your lock is similar to a Chevelle lock, but there is a very good post in the archives on the lock removal and installation. Use the search feature to find it. I recently went thru mine and found that the tool to tighten the bezel is not a hex but an 8-sided tool --had to improvise.
