It can be a pain!! I put it on my hoses, and it was dicey. It comes flat and rolled in the box, and you have to open it up. Just follow the directions, and bunch the stuff up as you slide it on the hose, It reminded me of those old "Chinese Finger Cuffs" they sold when we were kids...as long as you bunch it up, you're fine. Let it get too tight, and you can't get it off. Also, be careful not to bend it, or you can't open it up again.

I use a wooden dowl and sharpened one end and put the hose on the sharpened end. I then put the sleeving on the other end and just sort of kept working it on. If you get stuck, use some watered down soap to slicken things up a bit

I use a broom handle for the heater hoses and a shovel handle for the larger hoses. Just put the sleeving on the handle, put it up against the hose and push/slide the sleeve on the hose. Have clamps that fit as close to perfect as possible, not too big and watch how you orient them, the screw should be out of sight as possible. That's about it. tom
