Here is another little cheatin tip that works, Krylon #1613 is a xact match for GM satin semi gloss black, also makes perfect base coat for any dark color , this stuff will stick to almost anything if u thinner it and scuff it first, let us know how u make out, Good Luck , L89SEDAN

I used rustoleum spray satin finish black- I think it is sold for patio furnature. I used it on my entire frame after I sandblasted it .It is easy to touch up and seems to be a much heavier coat than the original GM paint I tried. Best of all- no spray guns to clean up...

I agree, Krylon 1613 is the ticket, used a bunch of it on my 70 Camaro front-end rebuild with good results.

For my chassis parts I have had good luck using 'Black Grill Paint' made by Char-Broil. It is a hi-temp paint that is intended to be used on charcoal grills. This paint leaves a really nice finish and has covered everything I've used it on.
