The only #'s I could find were 17059504 and 3058ccc didnt see a date stamping on it. Could someone tell me what size it is year car mabey?

I believe you were told correctly that it is a 795cfm. By 79, all quadrajets should have been the model M4MC, which was a 795cfm version.
Earlier quadrajets (66-mid 70s) were model 4MV and rated at 750cfm.
