Get a Ground up catalog, they have a diagram of it and sell all the parts i believe.

I believe just about all the aftermarket sources have everything you need. Most have 800 numbers so call and ask for their knowledgeable CI hood person. There are illustrations/exploded parts views in the parts books/assembly manuals and an aftermarket dealer may also be able to provide you with an illustration sheet.
If you need more help, there are plenty of people here with CI hoods. I have 2 in my family, one is original and one is a full repro.

71malibu454, e-mailed some info your way. Let me know if you don't get it, I'm no computer whiz but I think the scanned pages were sent ok.

When you say your hood doesn't have the door do you mean the door is missing on your cowl hood or you have a non cowl domed hood? If you have the domed hood with no provision for a door you will not find parts to convert it to a funcional cowl hood, you will be forced to fabricate the cold air induction yourself.

You must really want the set up to pay for it. All the pieces add up to big bucks. Somewhat cheaper if you buy the complete kit.

big james, dont worry about the excess e-mail, because i never got it(matches111@aol.com).

None of the catalogues I have carry a full kit, I bought the hood but it didn't come with a flap. it has the hole, but no door.

Year One sells a complete CI kit for $620 less hood. If that's too steep, on a previous post (http://www.chevelles.com/forum/Forum4/HTML/003387.html) I included the various kits and CI nick-nacks available from Ground Up to purchase seprately. It still may be cheaper that Year One.

Sorry Malibu, I haven't got a grip on this computer thing as well as I would like. I am trying one more time to send 4 pages(2 pgs pictures, 2 pgs parts list) scanned from a catalog I have. I sent it just before I wrote this reply so if you still dont have it maybe some of the computer gurus among us will give me some guidance.
