: CONSIDERING 6SP RICHMOND REPLACEMENT FOR TH400

1970 LS6 with 454 TH400, seriously considering changing out to a Richmond 6sp since my car tachs so high even at 60 mph, not to mention the fact I really want a manual.

Any insight is much appreciated.

Joenanne,

Suggest you repost this in Tech 2001. The new Tech section was started right after the first of the year and this is why you se so little in the way of posts over here. Won't get much activity over here and I am sorry but I have no insight into your proposed swap except that I am a stick kind of guy so any conversion like this I am all for it.
