Can anyone recommend a source for high temp Chevy Orange engine paint in pint or quart cans? I only found rattle can paint at Eastwood.

Check out por-15 site, they have high temp chevy orange in pints.

You can use regular automotive Urethane. It works just fine and dosn't discolor. Pick any color you want!

I agree with Bill above. I have used the POR15 Engine enamel and it works great. Just brush it on and let dry for a few days before starting motor. Very bright orange just like in the cans. The POR has some kind of smotthing agen that pretty much elimnates the brush strokes. They guarantee it to not peel and flake off if the surface is prepared (clean) before applying.

I have an engine that got ran hard and is now sitting next to my house that as por-15'd (thanks dave) and I wiped off the grimes and soot and other crap and the paint looked great with no signs of doing anyting other than just sitting there.
