: When did the TH-350 show up?? RRCHEVL69 Apr 29th, 99, 7:16 PM I was thinking today (dangerous) about when and where the th-350 tranny showed up. Was is avaiable in Chevelles? If any one knows What years? I know SS's had th-400s or manuals. Was the th-350 a malibu tranny or were they all glides? Yes, glides were available behind a big block in a Super Sport. The rear end in my car came out of a 66 SS396 with a glide and column shift. Too bad a rather large tree crushed the donor car. Bet it was a nice ride. ------------------ Cam Apr 30th, 99, 5:46 PM The TH350 came out in the fall of '68 for use in the '69 models. Oldmobile was the division that pushed for it.
