My Chilton's is packed away. I have to replace my lifters next week and need help on which cylinders to set with the crank at TDC and the which ones to set with it turned 180 deg. Also, looking down on the heads, which valve comes first, the intake or exhaust (when looking left to right)?

Pretty easy to see which one lines up with the header ( exhaust).

Best way to do valves is EO-IC, while cranking engine over by hand ( no plugs) when the exhaust begins to open, set the intake, when the intake begins to close set the exhaust.
