: Fair price for pistons?

I already posted an ad, but was wondering what a fair price would be for a set of 8 new in box, KB-156 hypereutectic pistons and plasma coated moly rings for a .030 overbore 327?

They're listed in the Jegs catalog at $23.99 each so that would be $191.92 for a set of eight. It just depends on how quickly you want to move them.

I hate selling stuff, but I was thinking $190 (including rings) would be about fair. At that price you are getting the rings for free.

Seem like I have heard that if you have to have 5/64 rings instead of the 1/16 ring it will cost you more. Why do piston manufacturers make different size rings. Is the smaller one a better performance ring that does not last as long or what?

Less drag with a thinner ring, but they do wear quicker. I wouldn't use the 1/16" ring on the street.
