Is the engine hood on a 67 SS the same as the body color or black underneath? The car is bolero red.

this is a guess.I would say black.

I think a semi gloss black.

These guys are right, I also have one and I think I`m gonna go with the body color. in my opinion it looks better!

mine has got the original paint and is the same color on both sides. another one of those chevrolet deals?

klmlobo, my '67 SS has a bad maroon paint job over the original Bolero. Hood and trunk undersides are Bolero. BTW, howe does a '67 look in Bolero, it'll be a while before I can swing the paint!
