Has anyone seen or heard anything about the
Technical Videos they have for rebuilding transmissions. I have seen them in Eastwood and in the back of Hot Rod etc. Cost $34.95 + S&H($29.95 from Eastwood) and are apprx. 90 min. long. I going to build a 2004R soon and am wondering if it would be worthwhile.
Thanks, Joel

Joel,
I got a video for a Competition TH400 from Darrell Young's Racing Transmissions. The video itself was kind of cheesy as far as professionalism goes, but it was very informative. The only other thing I didn't like was it did not tell HOW each of the modifications help, just how to do them. Overall, I think it was very helpful. 818-768-4047 - http://www.racing-transmissions.com.

Joel;
This isn't about the videos, but if you are going to build a 200 4R, I'd recommend that you contact the people at Art Carr. You can get their e-mail address from the "technical reference" section of this site. I've talked to them at length (getting information for the techref page, that hasn't been added yet) and they are helpful and informative. They may make recommendations on a video.
