Muriatic Acid. Wear gloves and don't breathe it. This is what is used in cleaning swimming pools. I did a small spot om my concrete slab outside my shop. I poured it on and let it sit for a bit (not long), and hosed it off. It looks great.
Wear safety goggles, gloves and anything else you can think of.

Big Block Dave Aug 10th, 00, 4:33 AM Paint right over it and if anyone asks you how it got there, respond with, "it was like that when I got here"
Hit it with some brake parts cleaner...that stuff eats everything
wlpz28 Aug 10th, 00, 4:36 AM I keep bags of cat litter handy for the spills, it's cheaper than oil dry from the parts store and it's the same thing (dried clay). Brake clean usually gets up the stain.

Mondo454 Aug 10th, 00, 7:30 AM Go to your local Hardware store and pick up some concrete cleaner or any local autoparts store for some of that Castrol Super Clean. Pour it on the stain, let it sit, scub it with a brush and hose it off. If it's a recent stain, like in the last month or so, you won't even notice it was there!

mrthomas Aug 11th, 00, 1:35 AM Have used concrete cleaner from Amway for years works great for garage use. When I had my shop used a product from Safety Kleen, was expensive but worked good.
283v8 Aug 11th, 00, 10:59 AM Or think of it this way - this is a garage - you EARNED those stains - why remove them ??Be proud of them. Besides, if you have a few stains, you won't be afraid to make a mess next time you need to. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif

tom3 Aug 11th, 00, 4:28 PM Scrub down with kerosene, rinse off as much as possible, then scrub with Tide laundry detergent. Used this combo for years working in a gas station/garage.
