below is my email to afco and their response in regards tot the deal i spoke of on aluminum radiators in another thread...these radiators look better than the griffin i checked out at the local speed shop..
no resin!

please forward part numbers , price and availability for a custom fit radiator for a 70 chevelle with a 502 big block chevy engine

i was told by one of your reps at the turkey rod run that cost would be 255 plus 40 for integral Auto Tranny cooling coil

It would take about 4 weeks to build you a radiator for your Chevelle. The

PS
i just emailed them asking about a group discount..will advise as soon as i hear back..
if this does pan out, please, each of you check out the quality for yourselves and dont go on my word alone... i am impressed ...i think their construction is better than the others i have seen but remember i said they offer no guarantee on temperature decreases as some other companies do

Thanks for spreading the word and the follow up on the AFCO radiators!!! Let us know what they say about the group discount, I will follow the thread as well.

I am tired of chasing leaks in the radiator for my 67SS Conv(396/AT and not much else) and have been waiting for reason/deal/good price to replace it.

AJ, just remember the 66-67 chevelles use a different radiator style than the 68-72s, so I dont know if these group purchases work unless a bunch of the same part is ordered. I will also be interested in the prices for the 68-72 radiator, around here a brass 4 core costs around $250..

drptop,
Thanks for the reminder. I know its the old style. I was hoping to go aluminum to offset some of the draw backs of the top to bottom flow of these earlier rad's.
