I have a 69 that originally came with a 307. When I bought the car it had a 350 in it. Well, the time has come for a 454 and I'm getting ready to drop my big block in it. My frame mounts measure 2 7/16 wide where the through-bolts go through. Energy suspension makes motor mounts that will go right over my frame mounts, but of course they are for a small block. Do I have to change my frame mounts over to the narrower big block frame mounts, or can I just use the wider small block engine mounts with my existing frame mounts? Thanks for the help, fellow gearheads!

when I put the 454 in place of the small block I just took the engine mounts off the small block , put them on the big block and it bolted right in.

yep! took mounts of a 350 put them on the 427 and it bolted right in.

I did the same swap, 327 to 454, bolts right up. Good luck
