: New Gardner Exhaust,
71307chevelle Jan 19th, 01, 6:44 AM Just installed a complete Gardner exhaust System on my 66ss this past weekend. All in all I was very impressed! I have a few pictures on my website (www.ChevelleSS.com) under the Chassis section, in case anybodys interested.
They are very pricey $$$, but they really do a great job in reproducing exactly how it came from the factory, if you're into that like I am. And it does include everything needed to install from the manifolds back. Took me about 2 hours. Of course I'm working on just the frame so it makes it much easier than lying on your back.
I haven't started the engine yet, I will pretty soon, about a month or so. Can't wait till I hear that Big Block ROAR!!!!! Maybe I'll post some WAV files of the startup.
If anybody has any questions about it, email me.
Thanks
Corey

Pete 67 Jan 19th, 01, 8:49 AM Looks great Corey, keep up the good work.
Rick_Nelson Jan 19th, 01, 8:55 AM I too recently installed Eric's system and was very impressed. Like yours, everthing fit perfectly and Eric was even gracious enough to intall and replate (for a nominal fee) my factory rear J-mounts to his rubbers. Looks extremely nice on the chassis. I highly recommend their system.

66 MYSTERY CHEVELLE Jan 19th, 01, 3:35 PM I'm there!!
BAD415 Jan 19th, 01, 5:34 PM Just exactly how much is pricey?
71307chevelle Jan 19th, 01, 7:16 PM Oh lets see, pipes, mufflers, clamps, hangers, heat riser valve, exhaust studs, shipping all came to about $720. Of course I got the concourse package for the attaching hardware which cost more. The pipes and mufflers alone cost about $450.
You know you get what you pay for. If you're concerned about originality its really the way to go. If not you could get the same setup from Ground Up or Year One for about half that.
