Does anybody out there remember what octane Sunoco 260 was?I have a bet going with a friend. He says 110,but I don't think it was that high.More like 103-104.Any of you guys filled up with that stuff in the heyday and remember? Thanks

I know Sunoco still sells GT-104, a 104oct. off highway unleaded. As far as it goes witht he old lead stuuf I know you could get 110oct.

The DX-SUNRAY Oil Company originally had its home offices in Tulsa, OK. In the Okla City area the stations were just called DX. Same thing as SUNOCO (for Sun Oil CO.). The DX 260 in the Okla City area was advertised as 103 octane. Before the 1973 oil embargo, I used to buy it for .29-.32cents/gal. Used it in my '51 Chev with a 12:1 327 and in my jet boat with an 11:1 LT-1 350 (yep, same boat today with the 420SB).

I thought it was 104. But hear are the current ratings for all Sunoco Fuels.
