How common was a 308 open rearend on an SS with a 12 bolt

A 12-bolt open 3.07 (3.08 was a 10-bolt ratio) was pretty common. 396/325/Powerglide used it as standard, as did 396/350/TH400. As a trivia note, all factory a/c big-blocks used that ratio in 1967 at least.

That is a rare ratio considering the 4 speed. It was no doubt available as probably an "economy" option.

Uh correct me if im wrong but wasn't 331 the standard ratio for a 396 325hp pg combo?
