I've read the archived tech on this topic, yet I still can't figure out how top get this darn lock of the glove box. It says there is a slot in the back of the casing at 3 o'clock, but is that on the very back or the side of the lock casing. I only see one on the side, and I've wedged around in there and gained nothing. So how do you do it? http://www.chevelles.com/forum/confused.gif

Thanks Gene!! That sure took a load off my mind, I never would have found that hole, once I did, it took about 5 minutes to get her off. Thanks again. I assume it goes back on about the same?

I can't remember if you need to depress the tumblers to re-install. Let me know one way or the other and I'll add it to my web page.

Gene, it may be a while since we are only primering the dash and deciding what color the dash will be, so don't expect to hear from me soon, although I may decide to play around with it this week.
Hey Byfield, things seem to go much easier when you know what you're doing. Na, I'm just "THE MAN!!!"

Thanks Gene. I was about to do the same thing. The site was a big help.
