I'm just finishing puting in my 350 in my 68 malibu and i don't know which hose goes to the top or bottom connection for my heater on the fire wall? I thought they were supposed to be different sizes because the hoses are. I have the top one hooked up to the water pump and the bottom one hooked up the the radiator. I would appreciate the help.

I have a 350 in my '69. The top hose on the firewall runs to the water pump but it really shouldn't matter. That water just circulates through a radiator the gives you the heat. It doesn't matter which direction the water goes. It's not the case where if the water ran in the other direction, it would COOL the interior instead of heating it http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif

Usually the small diameter hose goes onto the manifold and the large goes to the pump.
