I just bought a TCI torque converter.The pepers that came with were from the factory in tennesee.Well they moved from their original location in 1981!My question is that has the technology of torque converters changed drasticaly in the last 20 yrs?The thing has never been ran,no atf inside.I got it for a pretty good price $50.So tell me what you guys think!!

I do not see any reason not to use it. If it is in a good condition, I would definetely use it. To the best of my knowledge there is no difference between the technology of this torque converter and a new one.
