I have some questions on how the seat belt waring system works on a 1972 SS Chevelle with bucket seats. First some background. If I ground a wire lead that comes out of the main harness that goes to the trunk (the lead comes out under the seat area) , a light in the dash and a buzzer go off ( when the car is running & in drive). My questions are,
1. Where does the wire from that main harness under my seat hook up to? On one on my bucket seats there is a lead that comes from the bottom of the seat.
2. Does a wire connect to both the driver and passenger bucket seats?
3. What makes the buzzer and light turn off? I may be missing some wiring that actually connects into the seat belt, if some thing like that exists.
