Can someone check to see what the correct # for the proportion valve is on a 70SS? This is the valve between the booster and the master cylinder.
Help is appreciated!!

Luis, Are you talking about the small,round valve that is right next to the master cyl ?

I think mine is bad, as I have been working on my brakes for a solid week now, with little success. You can adjust the rear brakes all the way up, and it still takes 4 pumps of the pedal for the front brakes to engage. So, I pulled the proportioning valve off, and cleaned it up and checked it out...it was letting fluid by, and was having to fill the front brakes up before it would clamp then down. So, I looked @ Ground Up...$189!!!! Rebuild kit is like $99!!!! So, I am going to see if we have something I can rob one off of.

Sorry I don't know the part # you need, but I thought I would let you know what my experience with this has been ( ineeded to vent!). Do you know of anywhere else to get them?

Leo that's the one I'm looking for. I bought one and it has a rubbrer nipples I don't think that the one on the Chevelle has a rubber nipple.
