If you do, what did you use for an oil pan??? Since The new engines only can use the new oil pans I have limited choices (I think). I went to chevy dealership and bought the recomended oil pan for my application. I believe its the smallest oilpan for this engine.Well it still hit the x-member and I kinda sorta hammered it to make it fit and it kinda sorta broke.(fixable but broke). As of now I plan on cutting the original deep pan to fit then weld it up all nice and neat(read that: NO HAMMERING). Well this is my plan unless someone can tell me about a direct bolt in pan with no clearance problems.Thanks for any help you can offer.

Joe, check with Moroso, they just came out with a neat pan for the Gen 5 & 6's.
