I have a 70SS with hidden wipers and I am replacing the wiper motor. Mine is painted black. Is this correct or should it be left nature silver.

The correct finish for the motor is zinc (natural). Only the plastic cover should be black.

they should be natural, The rebuilt ones come through painted black.
I bought one and washed all the black paint off with laquer thinner on a rag, then polished it with compound.
They don't come with the correct washer pump either, it should be a white one.
