I've been fouling the plugs in my 327 a lot lately, but its mostly when I pull it out of the garage 2 or 3 times a day, pull it back in, and idle a few minutes, not on longer drives. It doesnt do it at all when I drive around town or anywhere else, just in the driveway and clears up when I do take it out and drive it. I pulled all the plugs and cleaned them a couple of times. Im going to buy new ones today, what do you guys recommend for a 327, healthy long duration cam, 650 double pumper and stock ingition. It has 10.5:1 compression and the original 66 heads.
BTW, it has Autolite 86's in it. (i know, they were in it when I bought it).

Ron, I recommend you don;t start her up and idle her for a few minutes. No plug will help. The mill needs to see full orpeating temp to clean the plugs. It's hard on a mill to run a few minutes at a time.

Autolites are excellent plugs BTW.

If it's a must you move the car this way, an MSD will help. Or, if you want to be kind, push it!

Well, Gene, the problem is my garage looks a lot like Cardiacs. My Chevelle is in there almost completly disassembled with the hood against one wall, the trunk lid against another, the engine in a corner, and the interior all around. My Nova stays in there too. The only way that I can work on either one is by moving the Nova outside. I can push it out but not in because of the slope going in.
Thanks for the input, I bought AC 45S's for it tonite.
Ron
