Just need a little clarification. In general, when to use the white lithium grease and when to use the black moly grease?
Thanks.

I am no lubrication expert, but I have noticed that white lithium is used for low rpm/load applications. Moly or other types are used for higher temperatures and shear loads. Also, lithium is not used where water may come in contact with it. It almost washes away. Another thing to keep in mind is the weight of the grease. Compare wheel bearing grease and tie rod end grease.
