working on both cars this w-end. can't find the timing tab on an '86 chevy 350. should be there, noone has done any extensive work on the engine.
swapped out a distributor and actually had the pleasant surprise of being able to start the engine on the 2nd crank. does anyone have any ACCEL HEI experience? just wondering, seems like the vacuum advance isn't doing much of anything, and am scared to adjust the mech weights. Getting the misfire/high ping at higher rpms.
