Just bought a 78 Malibu and the windshield is cracked and I was wondering if any one knew what cars besides the El Camino that might interchange (windshield)? Thanks...

I have to assume that this question is based on trying to save money using a junkyard windshield (I'm assuming you are not going to steal one).

I've got to recommend that you just bite the bullet and have a shop replace your broken one.

I live in the L.A. area of California and there are a couple shops (normally right next to a large junk yard) that will replace your windshield with a used one. That HAS to be the cheapest way to go!

Before having the work done, talk to them about consern of the antenna working!!! For some reason, the sealer used on the latter windshield tends to "short out" the antenna causing it to not work correctly. This is mostly a problem with the AM section of the radio. The antenna hook-up wiring has to be "isolated"! Play the radio before the work and then again after. Do it before leaving the shop.
