just came from the bodyshop and my 68 convertable is jammed and will be painted this week!! http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif who sells a product that will attach my clips to attach the side molding and any tips or tricks would be great.THANKS WILDBILL

If you mean the little metal pegs I heard they sell a replacement type that screws in at most auto body $ paint stores. I haven't tried hunting them down yet.

when i got the new moulding for my car the clips came with small screws to fasten them. then you don't need the stud. the clips could also be riveted on. i would suggest putting silicone in the holes to help keep water away.
