i was wondering if 570 bucks id too much to pay for rechromed bumpers, mine are ok, but with the new paint job, the couple bad spots are gonna stick out like a sore thumb. just curioous what i should pay, thanks for the help, geoff

i got my rear done a year ago for $150 ish. Still looks as good as the day i first got'm.
seems a little high for just chroming. I guess if you required fixing some dings and dents on the bumper it would be a good price.

There was a post recently about rechroming, but I'll share what I said there. Just remember to convert all my figures to U.S. dollars. I inquired at various places, and the going rate for a decent chrome job, comparable to factory quality, is about $400 per bumper. Show quality, on the other hand, was about $600-700 per bumper. This translates into about $275 and $450-500 US respectively. I don't know anything about the plating shop you've chosen, but if you feel they are reputable, it sounds like a good price to me. Always shop around, though. just my opinion. Good luck!
