I am in the process of pulling the front end off my Chevelle. I am ready to take the front section off but I have not figured out how to get the wiring connection off the parking light. I need to do this so I can get the wires back through the holes in the front section (the parking lights don't fit through those little holes). I can always cut the wires. Is there a better way. When I try to remove the connector from the back of the parking light it just spins around and does not seem to come lose. Do not want to force it.

Do you have a hammer? A big one? A saw perhaps...

On my '69 there are plugin connections for the parking lights on the engine side of the radiator support panel. Unplug those and feed the wires and plugs forward through the holes in the panel.

I have plenty of big hammers. I try to use those sparingly though. I will check to see if there is a plug I can disconnect on the engine compartment side. I suspect that I will be looking for a modular type connection. Thanks.
