I am looking for a set of orig rear speaker grills for my 70 -

Does anyone have any pics to e-mail me exactly what they look like?

What other year speaker grills would be interchangeable - is 70 - 72 the only years or would 69 or 73 work.

Rich,I thought AM/FM stereo equipped cars had the mesh pattern package tray-thus,not requiring any grilles.I could be wrong.I'll be running my 6X9's under the the non-meshed package tray for the stealth look http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Mr 4 Speed,

I'm not sure - I have never seen a stereo set up before however I do know of someone who has the factory grills in the shelf and I believe he has a stereo set up. If anyone knows for sure I hope they can add to the post.

My 70SS has the rectangular grills on the left in the picture from MR70Monte

They are factory installed and color coded to the interior/package tray color.

Thks, my next post, if I found a set of grills, was to find out if they should be colored to match the tray package, in my case dark green. You have answered it for me.

I hope I come across a set of these - if you or anyone does pls keep me in mind.
