It looks great!!
Are you going to give it a romp at PIR or Woodburn? If so email me when and I'll try to bring my car....Thats if I can get it back together. There was 70 SS at PIR last year that ran a 12 flat in his 70 with a 454 and functional AC http://www.chevelles.com/forum/cool.gif

BADSS Feb 29th, 00, 11:26 AM You bet, Woodburn and PIR are my targets. I'm hoping to tune it to be a 12 flat car as I don't yet want to put in the rollbars, etc. yet.
Lets keep in contact. I'm hoping it will be running by the end of the week and racing season is just around the corner.

s wills Mar 2nd, 00, 8:11 PM THE CAR LOOKS GREAT I JUST BOUGHT THE SAME 502 KIT LAST MONTH AND A TPI 700R4 PACKAGE IT IS FOR A 70 CONV. I AM DOING A FRAME OFF AND I HAVE THE FRAME PAINTED AND THE ENGINE BOLTED IN SO IT WILL BE AWILE TILL IT WILL BE FIRED UP . I WAS WONDERING WHAT FUEL PUMP SET UP DID YOU USE THANKS SHAWN WILLS
BADSS Mar 2nd, 00, 8:12 PM The serpentine setup is from March Performance. About a $500 addition, but turned out to really sharpen up the motor. I also went with an Edelbrock waterpump. The one that comes with the zz502 is a reverse rotation pump. Plus the Edelbrock looked like it was a better machined pump.

street_racer_502 Mar 2nd, 00, 10:58 PM Shawn Willis, I went with a Holley Blue pump on my 502. Around 80-90 dollars and comes with a regulator and they are rebuildable. I haven't had any problems with it yet, plus the way it looks now, Holley may be the only company left someday, with the way they are buying everybody out!
BADSS Mar 2nd, 00, 11:15 PM For the electric fuel pump, I went with the Holley P/N 12-815 140 GPH (BLACK). Using a pressure regulator along with a safety shut-off valve if I loose oil pressure. See the following link for details.

BADSS Mar 3rd, 00, 8:43 AM By the way, great article in February 1999 Car Craft magazine for those of you thinking about putting in a 502 into a 70 chevelle. They give the do's and don'ts and have p/n and prices of what they switched out.
