what would happen if i put castrol +3 in my th400 instead of dexrom 3/marcon?

JWagner Sep 19th, 00, 9:58 PM I am not sure what the Castrol +3 oil is, but if it is just ordinary oil and you have not thrashed your trans with it in there, just drain it and replace it. The difficult part is draining the converter. You can run any kind you want. Manufactures spec certain fluids to get the shift characteristics they want. With Dextron you get that smooth GM cloud nine shift. Type F gives a chrisper shift.
