I posted a topic before about my slight accident with my El Camino and the left front suspension (I said right front last time but it was a typo). I've been gathering the replacement parts and would like to know what the best company would be to purchase OEM replacements. And didn't all 68-72 GM A-body's have the same front spindles?? Thanks

The spindles on 68-72's are similar but the drum brake spindle is not the same as the disk brake part. Rumor has it that the disk brake part can be made from a drum brake part by minor machining. For parts, I would shop the salvage yards and the for sale pages on this site. Prices are all over the map. I paid $50 for a pair of disk brake parts and have seen them for much more.

Thanks JWagner, but I'm looking for brand new replacements, not salvage yard ones. I'm looking for the front left one. I've looked in Year One and they don't have it, which is odd considering they have absolutely everything. And Original Parts Group only carries a spindle for 73' to 75'. I saw a pic of one in a diagram in the National Parts Depot catalog, but there is no price or information. Its part number 6020. I need this part!!! Please help guys!!
Thanks

Try our sponsor, Ground Up. I purchased a brand new spindle from them a couple of month's ago for my 70 SS 396, pretty good price too. Narti, Gold#36
