I looked at the previously posted question on ignition clyinders and I am still having problems. I took off the wheel and everything else. Originally was poking at the wrong thing. But then read the last post and poked through so that I could see the piece to push in. I keep pushing it but the clyinder will not come out. Do I need to put the key into on or acc.? Also there may be a few problems I accidently broke the springs on the piece above the flashing that I had to brake and the one to the lower left of the flashing I had to brake. Will that mater and what do they do? Any help is greatly appriciated.

On my 67 I turn the ign. to acc. and insert the paperclip, and then turn to the left and the cyl. comes out.
