Couldn't find info on this through a search so here goes. My setup: 64 chevelle, 350, headers, aftermarket alternator bracket (driver side, used for headers).

Have the lower bracket to hold to pump on the block, but I'm having trouble using the stock upper bracket (the one used to tension the pump belt) with the alternator bracket. Can I use the stock upper braket with this setup or do I need to use the stock alternator bracket (and will it work?)

If anybody has a similar setup, do you have a pic you can send me?
