I've read a couple articles about setting up air line from the air compressor and in each of them they say to use a fexible/rubber line from the tank to the reg./dryer. Has anyone done this and what kind of hose and clamping do you use??
Thanks for any help. Tom

If you are talking about air conditioning hose, you will have to find an ac specialty place to buy some high pressure hose. Some ac specialty places have fixtures and tooling to fabricate hoses/hose ends for just about any requirement. If you have no luck then your next best source may be to call some of the ac aftermarket places such as Vintage Air.

I've worked in bodyshops for 15yrs. and haven't seen anyone use one,but they do make them last one I've seen was at a auto body supply store it looked like metal braided hose kind of like the ones you see one exaust systems.

All the articles I've seen said to run metal pipes along the wall, but to use a flexible connection from the compressor to the metal lines to absorb the compressor's vibration. You could use a regular rubber air hose attached to the compressor output with a quick-connect to connect to wall lines.
