I bought a doner 70 Chevelle which has front end damage, the frame is bent in front of the passenger A-arm. The parts I needed were front clip body parts that were not damaged and a few misc interior parts. As the remainder of the car is in great shape, I am considering making it my next frame up project car. I found a local salvage yard that has a frame, but the guy is telling me that I would have to buy the whole car as he says it can't be separated from the body. Apparently, I gathered he must think there is a law against selling frames seperate from bodies. I have never heard of this . . . have you ? ? ? ?

You can buy any part you want. He just doesn't want to bother with the hassle of taking it apart and then having a shell w/o a frame.

My buddy got a frame from West Scio Auto wrecking for around $200 Bucks for his 68 a couple of years ago. 503-394-2230. About 20 miles at the most from you. I agree with Kurt, laziness is the culprit. Good Luck
