I was in the junkyard over the weekend and noticed a 79 Camaro that had some aluminum (maybe centerline) wheels on it. They look to be in decent shape, they just need to cleaned up.

Is the bolt pattern compatible with my 68 El Camino? If it is will the wheels fit? Or, what should I check to make sure they fit. Is $50 each a decent price?

Thanks,
Brandon

Bolt pattern is the same. They will probably fit, depends on size. I don't have a clue about the price.

If they are in a junk yard on a 79 camaro, I'd give me 50 bucks for all four, no way $200.

Bradon,

The only thing you'll need to watch is the back spacing and center offset. I've run into probs twice now with wheels off Camaro's being that with the tires mounted they wouldn't fit inside the wheelwells.

Just a heads-up.
