Looked thru the archives but didn't find the info I'm seeking. I recall a post some time ago about someone who does tachometer repair. My 64 Impala SS factory unit has quit working and I'd like to see it jump again. Anyone with a name, address or phone number for me? Thanks

A guy in Forney, Texas comes highly recommended. His name is Doy LaCroix. The number is 972-564-0936. But I'm told he doesn't come cheap.

a Quote from someone I know - "I sent mine to Clock Doc (1-800-256-5362), where they bench tested all gauges, and rebuilt my battery gauge and rebuilt my tach, which was cooked. (Hint: This wasn’t cheap, but did come with a guarantee!)"

I've hear that this guy is pretty good but I have no personal experience with him.http://www.tachman.com/
I just recently tried the tachman.
I had my 72 clock converted to quartz, it comes with a warantee im happy with it.
