I would like opinions on a Center Force Clutch. It is going in a relatively stock 396/375. I don't intend on racing but want it to perform good. I was leaning toward the dual friction. Is this too much ? Should I consider the C.F II ?

David, I don't know about too much clutch. I'll tell you this, when I brought my 275/60/15 drag radials down to 26 lbs of pressure, my clutch took a beating. It's a stock heavy duty behind a 396. No doubt I'm going with the dual force when the 427 goes in. A clutch is not something you want to replace frequently!

I'm running a Centerforce II behind my 400 hp BBC with Richmond ROD 6-speed and 3.08 posi. The pedal pressure is light and the clamping can't be beat. These clutches get my highest recommendation.
