What lift cam on a big block Chevy would you start to need extra slotted rockers MIKE

A long...long....time ago when I built my first big block. I had to put a set on a engine that had a cam lift of .550". I am not sure about what lift determines when you have to use them. But it would not hurt to have them anyway. Just an idea.

I'm not sure what cam lift you have to switch to long slot rockers, but stock Chevy long slots are good up to (I think!) .600" lift. I believe after that you'd need roller rockers.
