Have a question about carbs? I am currently running a 750 holley double pump on my mildly built 400+.30 I thought it was running a bit rich. A guy told me he would trade me a 650 holley for my 750 d.p,question is which carb is best choice being that I will have the carb overhauled? He said the 750 dp doesnt work well with an auto matic dont know what I should do thanks for any input!

I would stick with the 750. I have a 70 with a 400hp 350 and 350 trans. I originally had a 650dp on it and at about 4500rpm it would crap out. Switched to a 750dp and now it pulls to 6000rpm with no problem. I guess it all depends on how much power you are making.
