Flow Cooler is the name brand of a modified waterpump. Most waterpumps have a stamped impeller with open areas between the blades. The Flow Cooler pumps have a plate fastened to the back of the impeller to seal off the open area and increase the efficiency of the impeller. It sounds like a good idea but I don't have any personal experience so I don't know if it works as well as advertised. Maybe someone who has tried one will make a post.

I tried one in the past on a relatively stock 350. I found no positive result, I'd say buy an edelbrock.

I have one on my 68. It is a Chevy casting so it can't be too exotic I would think. Works O.K. but I don't think I would buy another one. Kind of pricey for what you are getting; just my opionion.
