I have seen a pair at the parts house here. The price is only $50 ea. and I thought that was real resonable and they seem to be well made. the have one chamber in and one chamber out.

Anyone have them on their car?

Thanks

Tim (Mr. D)

I think flowtech makes them, they make decent product, and are owned by Holley. So they should have a good track record. Don't know anyone who uses them so not sure how they sound.

pretty loud under throttle, nice little rumble at idle. i heard them on a mustang with headers and pipes dumping before the rear end.

Mr. D, upload the following video clip to hear what 3" Terminators sound like behind a 502 in the 1/8th mile. To me, they don't have that annoying interior 'drumming' found with 2 and 3 chamber fmaster mufflers...especially when running exhaust dumps before the axle. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif Full tails would have helped in my situation but because of my fuel delivery set-up, I'm limited to using dumps.

At idle, these Terminators' are quieter than the 3 chamber Delta-Flows I used to use on the 502. Anyway, check out the video and turn the sound up - hope this helps. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif

I had a set of terminators that I picked up at a local speed shop that was going under. I put them on along with the 2.5" flowmaster system. They are really well made and I liked the sound a lot other than they were way too LOUD. No way to hold a conversation anywhere near the car when running. The mufflers were listed for a mustang 5.0 but had the 2.5" offset inlet/outlet. I've got a built 454 so maybe they would be acceptable on something more in line with the 5.0 . Sold em and ordered some super turbos.

terminators have a three inch core inside the muffler no matter what the nipple size is, they use chambers to dampen the sound rather than a packing material, when i put a three inch system on my astro van i used a terminator and opened up the nipples to three inch from two inch with no problems , sounds okay but they can get a little noisey but not nearly as bad as flow masters.oh by the way we used to cut open different brands of mufflers to see how they were put together when we would get a used one in the shop.chaz

I have a pair on my elky with 2 1/2" system dumped at rear axle with turndowns. Sounds crisp at idle and downright mean and nasty under full throttle. I love em.
