I've got a 69 camaro with solenoid, electrical actuated cowl flap. It is just a problem, too erratic, especially when drag racing. I've changed the garbage switch to a nitro carb actuated one and that helped but I can't get the now 2nd solenoid to work all the time.
I just saw some chevelles with what looked like an air or vacuum actuated flapper on the cowl hood, where can I get these, what are they, how do they work and has anyone converted one to a camaro?
